Simply lie down in a comfortable position and listen to your heartbeat. I suggest starting with five minutes once or twice a day, preferable morning if only once per day. Add 5 minutes to your time every week, or so, until you get to a time that works best for you — anywhere between 15 and 30 — or more if you like.
I’ve found that this particular meditation technique — when practiced regularly — settles the spirit, improves mood and develops clarity.
